Naming Convention for Modular sets

He talked about what to not name and what to name pieces. Some main points were don't name things with color often because it will easily get confusing, just underscores for spaces not spaces or any other character.

Changing the Unwrap settings

He showed us how to change the unwrapping grid so things fit in nicely and orderly.

Copying Elements

He taught us how to copy an element of objects and talked about flipping UVs but never did it, just said "Flipping UVs is something you can do to avoid repetition if you want to." and never did it.

Finished Weight Painting and using the Hammer tool

He did like one weight paint and then did the rest behind the scenes, so I did what I could and then opened the next file so I could do the refining correctly.

So I just started chapter 2 of this tutorial the basics of the rig are done. Now I will start adding Advanced twisting to the back according to the video name.

So my teeth and right eye stopped working, I'm not sure why but the rest of him works.

So using the script thing he provided makes creating FK handles way easier but he just makes the ears and then jumps to being finished. I decided to make several FK handles where I thought they would be needed and then looked at his file and I had a lot of pointless ones. So I just deleted his and made new ones where he had his.

Weight Painting

I was taught how to do weight painting 

Blend Shapes and Complete Rig

I finished the rig aka putting in eye and mouth joints and then added in the blend shapes which was easy because we get to use the shapes he already made. Hooray for when the video says import this file!!!

Hierarchy issues......actually wait a minute

So after countless attempts to fix this, I still haven't figured out where I went wrong I even loaded up the file he uses for the video and did it all over again...… and found out that this is exactly what's supposed to happen. In his video it doesn't move that piece as well and he says that's perfectly fine.

Expression errors

I wrote the expression the exact same way as him but his magically works while I get this error.
